Women's Prayer Retreat • June 1, 2013


Prayer:  Have you thought about prayer for more than just a moment or two for a quick start to the day? Yes, we as Christians know to pray, but what does it mean to be focused on prayer; to “Be still and know that He is God?” Ps. 46:10. What about a prayer retreat?  Does the thought of being alone/quiet in prayer scare you? Then you are not alone. Your first thought may be I’m not going to pray out loud around others.  Well, you can relax as you do not have to!  Prayer is your time between you and the Lord. It’s a time for you to pour your heart out, read, reflect, and to listen.  Please join the MVCC ladies in our upcoming Prayer Retreat scheduled for June 1, 2013 over on Bainbridge Island. There you will find a time for praise and worship to start our day, followed by a time of tranquility surround by God’s beauty in the outdoors at the Bloedel Reserve. www.bloedelreserve.org
