When we choose to follow Christ, He gives us resources to help us on our journey of growth in learning to worship Him, to know Him more, and to develop a character more like His. He gives us his Word to read in our daily devotions, and he gives us His Holy Spirit to dwell in us and remind us of Him in our daily walk. He reminds us that through prayer we can ask him to guide us in every detail of our lives. There is nowhere in life that God will not be with us. Ephesians 5:1 tells us we should be imitators of God – we should copy Him and follow His example, and Romans 12:4-5 tells us that even though we are many members, each with our own function, we are one body in Christ and are to help each other. This year at MVCC many small groups and Bible studies are available to help you in your personal discovery of Christ and how He desires you to follow Him. Groups meet throughout the week and on Sunday during 1st or 2nd service. Discover your resources by joining a small group or Bible study, and begin the adventure of following Christ.
